Hey Guys,
I've got a keyboard player buddy I've been playing with here in Tampa for years and I thought I'd share some of the wackiness we record every couple of weeks at his studio. Basically we get together for about 3 hours (if our minds can handle it that long) and try to write and perform music that's as complicated as we can handle. It's just for fun and really stretches the imagination. Nothing fancy on my part, just trying to follow the form/road map I've put in front of myself!
Tell me what you think. Good or bad. Do I have tempo issues, does my snare sound like dookie?, etc....

I got a great amount of enjoyment listening to the song. Very creative. I thought the keyboard parts were sequenced but then you asked about your tempos....???? Please let me know how this was recorded.

Worn out Drumhead: To answer your question, the whole thing (except for the HUGE keyboard thing in the middle and various keyboard overdubs) was recorded live, just the two of us. No click, so that's why I asked if my time was cool.

Joes Mechanic: The keyboard player is VERY into RTF, Weather Report, Zappa, Crimson, Yes and all that ol' prog stuff. GOOD EARS!

We're working on a full record but with my blues band/Damon Fowler schedule, it's hard to get together as often as we'd like.
